Ultra-thin flank backlight for narrow inspection stations
LXV-2FTC is a high-uniformity flank backlight designed for installation where depth is restricted. The family supports configured emitting size, colour or colour temperature, cable length and mounting method; ten standard 24 V models cover 30 × 30 to 450 × 450 mm emitting fields.

Glass-surface scratches
Use the broad transmitted field to reveal scratches and discontinuities in transparent glass.
PCB printing defects
Place the PCB above the emitting surface so print boundaries and missing areas appear in silhouette.
Reflective-surface defects
Control the field and camera geometry to separate surface edges and defects from the bright background.
Sheet-metal contours
The LXV-2FTC100100-W example renders the SHIELD terminal as a black edge on a white background for clear contour inspection.
Working-distance response, field uniformity and sheet-metal contour evidence
The LXV-2FTC100100-W reference covers WD 0–200 mm and compares dark and bright 133 × 100 mm irradiance fields. The application sequence keeps the station arrangement, SHIELD terminal and final contour image as separate, complete objects.
LXV-2FTC100100-W optical response
Relative luminance is normalised to 100% at WD 0 mm and decreases as working distance increases to 200 mm. The two 133 × 100 mm maps retain the documented dark and bright output distributions.
Configurable low-profile construction
Length and width, colour or colour temperature, cable length and installation method can be configured. The family feature reaches 7 mm in configured ultra-thin construction; the ten standard drawings below specify a 9.5 mm boundary thickness.
SHIELD-terminal sheet-metal inspection
The documented setup uses LXV-2FTC100100-W below the SHIELD terminal. The resulting white background and black edge provide an obvious contour contrast.
Measured optical reference
The curve is a relative, normalised reference rather than an absolute-lux specification.
| Reference | Model / field | Documented range | Observed relationship |
|---|---|---|---|
| WD–illuminance property | LXV-2FTC100100-W | WD 0–200 mm; relative luminance 0–100% | Highest at WD 0 mm and decreases continuously with distance |
| Dark relative irradiance | FOV 133 × 100 mm | Relative scale 10–100 | Central output is higher than the blue perimeter |
| Bright relative irradiance | FOV 133 × 100 mm | Relative scale 10–100 | Broad high-output red field with a narrow blue perimeter |

Select the exact emitting field, colour load and mechanical row
Ten standard models share a 24 V supply and a 9.5 mm drawing thickness. Red power and green/blue/white power differ on nine rows, so the controller must be sized from the selected model and colour.
- 1
Define the complete silhouette field
Cover the target, positioning tolerance and any travel without extrapolating beyond the selected emitting surface.
- 2
Confirm installation depth
Use the 9.5 mm standard drawing unless a separate configured 7 mm construction is specifically released.
- 3
Choose colour and power
Validate contrast on the real material, then retain the matching red or G/B/W load.
- 4
Release the exact model row
Keep voltage, power, mass, drawing number and common-status value together.

Support the complete panel plane and reserve its cable and mounting geometry
Ten independently bounded drawings preserve each emitting surface, outer frame, hole pattern, 9.5 mm side profile and 500 mm lead. Small models use four Ø3.2 through-holes; the 300 and 360 mm models use eight, and the 450 mm model uses twelve.
- 01
Use only the drawing assigned to the selected model and preserve the complete emitting surface.
- 02
Mount the panel without twisting its frame; keep the camera normal to the luminous field.
- 03
Reserve the 500 mm lead and connector bend shown in each drawing.
- 04
Size the analog, digital or high-power controller for the selected 24 V colour load and validate uniformity after final clamping.

30–60 mm emitting fields
The three compact bodies retain their complete four-hole pattern, 9.5 mm side profile and 500 mm lead.
100–200 mm emitting fields
The intermediate bodies use the same 9.5 mm profile and four Ø3.2 through-holes.
250–360 mm emitting fields
The 300 and 360 mm models add intermediate mounting points while preserving the complete low-profile panel.
450 mm emitting field
The largest standard model uses a 490 × 490 mm frame and twelve Ø3.2 through-holes around the 450 × 450 mm emitting surface.
