Striped shadowless illumination for concave, convex and crease defects on reflective films
LXV-LFM projects a regular stripe field through a high-transmission, uniform and compact panel. Local changes in surface height bend the captured stripes, converting subtle concave, convex and crease defects on reflective glass, mirrors and screen films into visible geometric deformation.

Tablet-PC screen film
Reveal concave and convex points when a regular line pattern bends around the defect.
Mobile-phone screen film
Highlight a crease as a local stripe-direction discontinuity.
Reflective glass and mirrors
Translate shallow surface form into line displacement instead of relying only on brightness contrast.
Custom defect scale
Tune stripe spacing so the expected dent, bulge or fold occupies enough camera pixels to evaluate.
Working-distance response and two complete stripe-deformation inspection chains
The source identifies LXV-LFM100-W for the optical curve and for both film examples. The tablet-PC example shows concave/convex deformation and a magnified defect; the mobile-phone example shows a crease interrupting the regular stripe direction. Textual labels are rebuilt as HTML while each irreducible image object keeps its own natural boundary.

Choose emitting field, stripe spacing, spectrum and electrical load as one verified setup
The two standard panels share 24 V but differ in emitting area, colour-dependent power, mass, common status and mounting pattern. Stripe spacing is configurable and must be validated against the smallest surface-height change and the camera resolution.
The PDF specifies 0–40 °C operation and 20–85% RH without condensation; a 50,000 h reference life when luminance is reduced to 50% of the factory default; one year of free technical support and sample free-rent service. It lists a flexible, bend- and heat-resistant PVC extension cable for use inside equipment and a harder, more abrasion-resistant high-flex extension cable for drag-chain production lines. UV and IR output may be customised.
- 1
Define the surface defect
Record the reflective material, expected dent, bulge or crease direction, smallest acceptable feature and inspection field.
- 2
Choose 100 or 150 mm field
Use only the matching model row, emitting area, mass and drawing; do not transfer power or mounting data between sizes.
- 3
Set stripe spacing and spectrum
Select a line pitch that visibly deforms at the defect and test red, green, blue, 6600 K white or a custom IR/UV wavelength on the real surface.
- 4
Validate the complete image chain
Confirm focus, stripe regularity on a good part, deformation contrast on known defects, exposure and controller capacity at production distance.

Keep the striped panel parallel, centred and mechanically matched to its exact drawing
The complete source drawing preserves both housings, emitting areas, 4 mm body thickness, 10 mm total-depth references, M3 mounting patterns and 500 mm leads in one natural-ratio technical object. The native table keeps each value attached to LXV-LFM100 or LXV-LFM150.
- 01
Match LXV-LFM100 or LXV-LFM150 to drawing 1 or 2 and its own electrical row.
- 02
Centre the camera over the panel and keep the emitting plane controlled relative to the reflective target.
- 03
Align stripe direction with the defect geometry and reserve the documented M3 mounting span, 500 mm lead, connector and bend relief.
- 04
Validate stripe regularity, deformation contrast, working distance, exposure and controller load together before production release.
