Long-distance line-scan illumination for rail, tunnel and vehicle inspection
The verified PDF presents LXV-LIP385 and LXV-LIPS385 long-distance line-scan lights for uniform output with a line-scan camera. Fan or natural cooling is available by family, and the documented applications include rail defects, high-speed rail, subway, tunnel, road surface and long-distance vehicle-body inspection.

Rail defects
Illuminate the rail from a remote mounting position.
High-speed rail and subway
Use a line-scan camera with long standoff.
Tunnel and road surface
Cover a wider line as distance increases.
Vehicle-body scan
Use uniform long-distance output on large targets.
Complete LIP385-W working-distance curve and six measured test points
The PDF curve retains its title, model reference, axes and 0–6000 mm scale. Six native data rows show illuminance falling while the projected spot becomes longer and wider; the 3 m result is retained as an independent complete image object.

Choose cooling and output from the standoff, speed and available envelope
The verified model table contains two distinct 385 mm products. LXV-LIP385 is the 170 W R/B/W row; LXV-LIPS385 is the 252 W white row with the stated LXV-3DPA36350-1S controller. They are not merged into a synthetic 2LIPS specification.
- 1
Set required standoff
Use the six 700–5000 mm source points as references.
- 2
Cover the scan line
Check the growing spot length and width at that distance.
- 3
Choose LIP or LIPS cooling
LIP is fan-cooled; LIPS is natural-cooling in the drawing.
- 4
Match electrical load
Confirm controller voltage and power for the exact quoted model.
PDF and route identity are shown explicitly
The PDF uses LXV-LIP385 and LXV-LIPS385, while the existing website route uses the historical lxv-2lips identifier. The four information panels therefore show the two PDF model names explicitly. The source lists red at 620–630 nm, blue at 465–470 nm and white at 6600 K; UV and IR are customisable. It also states customised colour, on-site technical support and sample free-rent service.

Reserve the long-distance optical path and family-specific housing envelope
The complete drawing compares the fan-cooled LIP385 and natural-cooling LIPS385 housings. Mounting slots, fan clearance and the illuminated path must remain unobstructed.
- 01
Position the light at the verified working distance.
- 02
Keep the full projected light-spot length within the camera line.
- 03
Reserve fan airflow for LIP385 or passive-cooling space for LIPS385.
- 04
Keep the M5 slots, 3000 mm cable bend and emitting face unobstructed.
