Narrow-angle coaxial light with approximately parallel rays
LXV-3CON combines high uniformity and high luminance with an approximately parallel narrow-angle coaxial beam. It is intended for mirror-like and other reflective surfaces where controlled return light improves the visibility of characters, marks, cracks, scratches, edges and contours.

Reflective-surface defects
Use the narrow return path to reveal defects on mirror-like parts.
Mark position
Preserve character and mark boundaries for positioning or recognition.
Metal cracks and scratches
Increase directional contrast on reflective metal surfaces.
Edge and contour measurement
Separate reflective boundaries for contour inspection and measurement.
Measured optical behaviour, configurable construction and verified reflective results
The catalogue documents LXV-3CON40-W working-distance response and uniformity, configurable housing and wiring, direct beam and character comparisons, plus a watch-shell character-inspection example. Source text is re-expressed as searchable HTML while the non-text evidence remains in complete object crops.
LXV-3CON40-W optical reference
The working-distance plot compares LXV-3CON40-W with LXV-3COX40-W from 0 to 200 mm. Relative-irradiance maps use a 50 × 40 mm field of view at LWD 60 mm and LWD 100 mm; the catalogue marks the maps as reference data.
Configurable body and protected independent wiring
The documented configurable items are viewport, body length and width, parallel film, combined light, colour or colour temperature, cable length and installation method. A covered wire jacket separates fan and light power.
Narrow-angle field compared with a standard coaxial field
The source places the LXV-3CON narrow-angle output beside the LXV-3COX coaxial output to show the more directional beam shape.
Same-environment character contrast
For electronic-component surface-character inspection, LXV-3CON40-W and LXV-3COX40-W are shown in the same testing environment. The catalogue states that the narrow-angle model has higher luminance, better contrast and a steadier photographic result.
Watch-shell character-inspection instance
A camera views a watch shell through LXV-3CON40-W. The documented result is typeface legibility: white characters on a black background with obvious contrast.

Select narrow-angle field size from the mirror surface and camera view
Six 24 V rows span LXV-3CON30 through LXV-3CON100. Red and G/B/W loads differ on five rows, so emitting area, wavelength, power, mass and drawing number must remain attached to the selected model.
- 1
Confirm reflective behaviour
Use the narrow family when the mirror-like target needs directional return light and suppressed stray reflection.
- 2
Choose emitting width
Select the 30, 40, 50, 60, 80 or 100 mm emitting surface that covers the inspected region.
- 3
Validate wavelength
Test red, green, blue or 6600 K white against the actual mark or defect; IR and UV can be customised.
- 4
Match controller and load
Use the exact colour-dependent power with a strobe, analog or digital controller.

Maintain normal camera alignment and the intended narrow reflection path
The six source drawings retain the complete outlines, 500 mm lead positions, emitting surfaces and 4-M3 depth 4.5 mounting callouts. The model-specific mechanical values are also re-expressed below for direct comparison.
- 01
Use only the drawing and values for the selected 30–100 mm model.
- 02
Centre the camera and reflective target on the coaxial optical axis.
- 03
Keep the validated target angle fixed and control ambient or machine reflections.
- 04
Keep fan openings unobstructed and route the independently powered fan and light leads with service clearance.
