High-precision prism coaxial illumination for tiny reflective features
LXV-3COX-CP replaces the plate spectrometer used in a conventional coaxial light with a high-precision cube spectrometer. The compact optical path is intended for tiny objects and constrained machine spaces where fine characters, reflective-layer detail or shallow scratches must remain distinguishable.

Semiconductor wafers
Inspect surface conditions on highly reflective wafer material.
Reflective scratches
Reveal shallow scratches on polished or glossy surfaces.
Character recognition
Preserve fine printed detail for camera recognition.
Mark-point location
Use the compact on-axis field to locate small reference marks.
Measured optical behaviour, resolution comparison and phone-shell evidence
The catalogue compares high-precision and standard coaxial models under stated conditions. Text and numerical conditions are re-expressed as searchable HTML; only the non-text curves, heat maps, product objects and inspection results are retained as lossless source crops.
LXV-3COX18-CP-W optical reference
The working-distance graph compares LXV-3COX18-CP-W with LXV-3COX20-W from 0 to 90 mm. The Dark and Bright relative-irradiance maps both use a 17 × 23 mm field of view and share the displayed 10–100 scale.
Configurable compact construction
The catalogue identifies viewport, housing length and width, parallel film, combined light, colour or colour temperature, cable length and installation method as configurable items.
Resolution contrast under stated optics
LXV-3COX30-CP-W is compared with LXV-3COX30-W using a 5-million-pixel camera with 3.45 μm pixels, a 4× telecentric lens, WD 110 mm and LWD 60 mm. The high-precision result retains more surface texture and character-edge detail.
Mobile-phone back-shell comparison in the same environment
The source compares LXV-3COX18-CP-W with LXV-3COX20-W at the same exposure time, aperture and illumination level. It describes the CP image as higher in luminance, clearer and higher in contrast for tiny objects: module layering is clear, while the standard comparison cannot resolve it.
Mobile-phone shell scratch-inspection instance
The documented application uses a shell case of a mobile phone and LXV-3COX18-CP-W. The inspection result is described as a clear scratch with obvious contrast.

Select the emitting field, wavelength and electrical load as one row
Eleven 24 V models run from LXV-3COX13-CP through LXV-3COX120-CP. Red and G/B/W power can differ, so emitting size, wavelength, load, mass and drawing number must remain attached to the selected row.
- 1
Define the smallest feature
Record the reflective detail, scratch or character that must be resolved.
- 2
Choose emitting width
Select the 13, 18, 28, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 80, 100 or 120 mm source row that covers the camera view.
- 3
Validate wavelength
Test red, green, blue or 6600 K white on the actual target; IR and UV are custom options.
- 4
Match controller and load
Use the exact 24 V colour-dependent load with a strobe, analog or digital controller.

Align camera, cube spectrometer and target to the selected housing
Four independently cropped drawing groups retain all eleven complete model modules without splitting or duplicating a drawing. The 13 and 18 mm bodies use 4-M3 depth 6 mounting; the remaining source drawings call out 4-M3 depth 4.5. All illustrated leads are 500 mm.
- 01
Use only the drawing and values for the selected model.
- 02
Centre the camera, cube spectrometer and reflective target on the coaxial optical axis.
- 03
Keep the viewing and emitting apertures clear of brackets or guards.
- 04
Reserve the shown 500 mm lead and connector bend before releasing the station.
