Arch shadowless illumination for reflective PCB, packaging and plastic-surface inspection
LXV-DL mounts high-luminance, high-uniformity LEDs inside an arch-shaped reflective cavity. The balanced field reduces reflected light and flare on reflective workpieces, while the camera observes the target through a configurable viewport.

PCB inspection
Use the uniform shadowless field to reduce directional reflections around components, solder features and board surfaces.
Packaging inspection
Balance illumination across reflective packaging so printed or surface features remain visible without dominant hotspots.
Plastic-surface inspection
Reduce flare on glossy plastic while preserving local contamination or surface contrast.
Pill dirty-part inspection
The documented LXV-DL12570-W example uses uniform emitting to highlight a black dirty part on tablet products.
Working-distance response, field uniformity and a complete pill-inspection chain
The source identifies LXV-DL9070-B for the optical reference and LXV-DL12570-W for pill dirty-part inspection. Each chart, diagram, workpiece and result is preserved as an independent complete object; explanatory text is rebuilt as native HTML instead of embedding a PDF page.

Select the exact emitting area, viewport and colour-dependent power row
All nine standard rows use 24 V, but emitting area, viewport geometry, housing envelope, mass, mounting arrangement and red versus green/blue/white power differ. Keep every value bound to one model row and its numbered drawing.
Source fidelity note: the product page follows the supplied 2025 PDF. The LXV-DL190142 weight is printed as 245 g in that source and is preserved verbatim here, although it is notably lower than adjacent sizes; confirm it against the current manufacturer drawing before procurement. No undocumented “metal surface scratch” application is added. Custom builds must be validated as their own configurations.
- 1
Define the reflective target
Record target size, surface finish, inspection feature and the flare or reflection that must be suppressed.
- 2
Fit emitting area and viewport
Choose a model that covers the field while keeping the camera sight line clear through the documented aperture arrangement.
- 3
Match spectrum and controller load
Test the material response, then size the strobe, analog or digital controller from the selected model and colour power.
- 4
Validate at production geometry
Confirm working distance, uniformity, exposure, motion, contamination contrast and acceptance criteria on representative parts.
