Adjustable-focus spot collector light for variable working distances
LXV-ML uses a multi-lens collector and an adjustable lens barrel to tune both illumination distance and spot size. The 50 and 70 optical groups cover seven white-light models for drug, LCD, lens-surface and oral-liquid foreign-matter inspection.

Drug inspection
Concentrate the illuminated spot around compact pharmaceutical targets.
LCD visual inspection
Adjust working distance and spot coverage around the display feature.
Lens defect inspection
Reveal scratches or broken spots on optical surfaces.
Oral-liquid foreign matter
The verified arrangement images suspended impurities, including wool-like fibres, inside a vial.
Working-distance response, adjustable spot geometry and oral-liquid evidence
The optical measurements keep each model and working distance attached to its own value. Text and numerical data are rebuilt as searchable HTML; only beam geometry, measured irradiance fields and the application objects remain as bounded source images.
ML50 and ML70 adjustable spot geometry
At the documented focal settings, the ML50 group expands from Ø30 mm at WD 50 mm to Ø210 mm at WD 450 mm. The ML70 group expands from Ø20 mm to Ø63 mm across the same distance range. Lens-barrel length is used to adjust irradiation distance and spot size.
LXV-ML70-3-W measured spot fields
The five retained irradiance fields correspond to WD 50, 150, 250, 350 and 450 mm. The same 10 mm scale is preserved so spot growth can be compared without resizing the source objects.
Oral-liquid impurity and wool-detection instance
The documented station directs the collector light through the vial while the camera views the liquid from the side. The effective image marks the suspended bright foreign-matter points and preserves the enlarged inspection region.
Spot diameter by optical group and working distance
Diameters are the labelled source values in millimetres. They describe the illustrated focal setting and must be validated after final lens-barrel adjustment.

Choose optical group and power from measured spot and illuminance
Seven exact models cover two optical groups. Illuminance is not monotonic between the ML50 and ML70 families, so select from the measured row instead of extrapolating from wattage.
- 1
Define the inspection feature
Record target size, defect type and required contrast.
- 2
Set working distance and spot
Use the 50–450 mm references, then adjust the lens barrel on the real station.
- 3
Choose the measured output row
Compare the required exposure with the exact model illuminance at the selected distance.
- 4
Release one exact model
Keep its power, envelope, emitting surface and drawing together.

Keep the optical axis centred and the focus controls accessible
Six independently bounded drawings preserve all seven standard models. The ML50 group uses a 50–59.5 mm adjustable optical section; ML70 drawings call out 5.5 mm adjustment and a 500 mm lead.
- 01
Use only the drawing and values assigned to the selected model.
- 02
Align the camera, vial or inspected feature to the collector optical axis.
- 03
Leave both adjustment knobs accessible for focusing and locking.
- 04
Reserve the complete 500 mm lead and connector bend where shown.

ML50 mechanical drawings
The 3 W, 6 W and 10 W bodies use different rear sections and maximum diameters. Each complete model drawing is shown independently to keep its labels readable.
ML70 mechanical drawings
The 3 W and 4 W models share one body. The 6 W and 10 W models retain their own length and heat-sink geometry.
