Ultra-bright transmitted field for short-exposure contour and dimensional inspection
LXV-3FTH is a 24 V ultra-bright backlight for high-speed measurement, contour inspection and dimensional measurement. Four standard emitting fields from 88 × 88 to 150 × 150 mm support continuous or strobe operation; the 120 × 120 mm reference also includes a 288 W water-cooled high-power configuration for long working distances and high-temperature environments.

High-speed measurement
Use the high transmitted output to shorten exposure while preserving a measurable silhouette.
Contour inspection
Place the target between camera and light to create a high-contrast outer boundary.
Dimensional measurement
Measure projected edges against the complete bright field.
Metal shaft-sleeve edges
The 120 × 120 mm comparison produces higher edge contrast than the common backlight reference.
Working-distance output, shaft-sleeve edge contrast and configurable construction
The 3FTH120120-W curve compares strobe and analog-controller output from WD 0 to 300 mm. The metal shaft-sleeve instance then compares the common LXV-2FT120120-W result with the ultra-bright LXV-3FTH120120-W result under the same inspection task.
LXV-3FTH120120-W working-distance reference
At WD 0 mm, the plotted strobe curve begins at 8,000,000 lx and the analog-controller curve begins at 1,000,000 lx. Both curves fall as working distance increases to 300 mm, so exposure must be released against the intended controller mode and distance.
Metal shaft-sleeve edge inspection
The camera views the shaft sleeve above the transmitted field. The common LXV-2FT120120-W image is visibly dimmer, while LXV-3FTH120120-W produces the stated satisfactory brightness and high edge contrast for high-speed, low-exposure inspection.
Configurable standard housing
Height, colour or colour temperature, emitting area and installation method can be configured for the machine envelope.
Water-cooled high-power construction
LXV-3FTH120120-LP-W is the 24 V, 288 W, 8,000,000 lx water-cooled example. High-power LEDs provide high brightness and uniformity; water cooling is specified for high-temperature environments and long working distances.

Choose field size, colour load and controller mode as one exact configuration
All four standard rows use 24 V, but red power differs from green, blue and white power. The water-cooled LP example is a separate high-power configuration and must not be substituted into a standard row.
- 1
Define the complete silhouette field
Include the target, travel, tolerances and the edge used for measurement.
- 2
Set working distance and exposure
Use the 0–300 mm curve to compare continuous or analog operation with strobe output.
- 3
Choose colour and exact power
Keep the red or G/B/W power value attached to the selected field size.
- 4
Choose standard or water-cooled construction
Use the standard body for the four listed rows; release the LP water-cooled example only when its 288 W load and cooling path are engineered.

Cover the full silhouette, preserve the selected body envelope and engineer the thermal path
Four independently bounded standard drawings and one water-cooled drawing preserve the field, housing depth, connector and cooling-specific geometry. The standard 88–120 mm bodies share one depth family; the 150 mm body and LP water-cooled body differ.
- 01
Keep the target inside the complete emitting field and align the camera normal to the backlight.
- 02
Use only the drawing assigned to the selected field size and retain the complete 500 mm lead bend.
- 03
Synchronise strobe output with the camera exposure; size analog, digital or strobe controller capacity from the exact colour load.
- 04
For LXV-3FTH120120-LP-W, provide the specified water-cooling loop, 288 W electrical capacity and high-temperature clearance.
