High-output fibre-optic illumination for endoscopes, microscopes and compact optical heads
LXV-SLG is the documented fibre-optic light-source family behind this historical route. It replaces a hot, short-life lamp at the inspection head with a constant-current LED source and a flexible light guide. Four power classes, interchangeable straight, ring and line fibres, 256/1024-level control, LCD status, external triggering and optional RS232/LAN communication cover endoscope, wafer, microscope and LCD inspection layouts.

Endoscope illumination
Deliver light through a flexible guide to electronic, automotive or industrial endoscopes.
Wafer inspection
Concentrate a small spot to reveal semiconductor-wafer scratches and smudges.
Microscope inspection
Keep the light box away from the camera while a fibre illuminates PCB surfaces.
LCD inspection
Use a line-type fibre to spread light across an extended display surface.
Working-distance output, lifetime, dimming behaviour and verified inspection arrangements
Each visual is retained as an individual engineering module. Curve conditions, model labels and comparison assumptions remain visible so the reference data is not mistaken for a guaranteed result.

Select power, colour, fibre geometry and control as one optical system
Choose the light box, fibre assembly and control mode together. The verified rows use the PDF family name rather than the historical 2SLG route prefix, and every electrical or optical value remains attached to its source row.
- 1
Choose the fibre output
Use straight, line or ring geometry to match the target.
- 2
Set the required spot and working distance
Use the cited curve condition only as an initial reference.
- 3
Choose colour and output class
Match the source row to the camera and exposure time.
- 4
Confirm trigger and communication
Use 5–24 V triggering and the required local, RS232 or LAN control.
Product identity and rows are kept explicit
The verified PDF pages and ordering code use LXV-SLG. The public lxv-2slg route remains unchanged, while the engineering content retains the documented family identity. The source also offers customised colour, on-site technical support and sample free-rent service. Its narrative compares the LED design with 50–300 W halogen sources and states lower heat, energy use and maintenance; final performance must still be validated in the actual optical system.

Match connector, fibre assembly and light-box envelope as one mechanical system
Three connector standards, three straight-fibre core sizes and three light-box envelopes are dimensioned independently. Use the exact combination selected for the application and preserve ventilation, bend radius and control-panel access.
- Choose LXV-SLG-MO, LXV-SLG-HY or LXV-SLG-SU connector geometry for the mating interface.
- Select LXV-MG6-110S, LXV-MG8-110S or LXV-MG10-110S and either 1100 or 2200 mm nominal assembly length.
- Keep the flexible guide within its allowable bend radius and avoid side-loading the connector.
- Use the exact SLG60, SLG150 or SLG250 / SLG250-W-H enclosure drawing and reserve airflow, power, trigger and communication access.
