Fibre-delivered NIR and SWIR illumination for hidden impurities, internal structure and spectral contrast
LXV-SLG-SWIR combines four NIR and six SWIR wavelength options in a 150 W, single-channel fibre source. The PDF positions the LED system as a lower-irradiation-heat, long-use replacement for halogen illumination and pairs it with short-wave-infrared cameras for exterior and interior inspection beyond visible-light response.

The PDF states that visible LED sources typically cover about 400–750 nm, while material optical fingerprints can lie in the 900–2500 nm SWIR band. Integrate wavelength, connector, fibre geometry, camera response and enclosure as one path
The source connects to straight, ring and other configured fibre outputs. The three connector interfaces, three straight-fibre core sizes and LXV-SLG150 enclosure are dimensioned separately so each can be checked at a readable scale.
- Confirm detector, lens and fibre transmission at the selected 810–1650 nm peak.
- Choose LXV-SLG-MO, LXV-SLG-HY or LXV-SLG-SU for the mating connector geometry.
- Select LXV-MG6-110S, LXV-MG8-110S or LXV-MG10-110S and the required 1100 or 2200 mm nominal length.
- Keep the fibre within a suitable bend radius and reserve ventilation, optical-outlet, power, trigger, RS232 and LAN access around the 155 × 200 × 157.5 mm maximum envelope.
