High-intensity fibre illumination for compact bright-field and dark-field inspection
LXV-MHAB150-W couples a white LED light box to straight, ring or application-specific fibres. It supports endoscopic viewing, compact coaxial bright-field work and angled dark-field inspection where the illuminator must remain outside the camera envelope.

Electronic endoscopy
Deliver intense light through a small fibre bundle when the camera and objective must work inside a narrow inspection path.
Automotive endoscopes
Route illumination into cavities, castings and assemblies that cannot accept a conventional area light.
Industrial endoscopes
Keep the heat-producing light box outside the inspected cavity while the fibre carries light to the objective.
Bright- or dark-field fibre heads
Use the fibre geometry and field lens to choose on-axis surface response or low-angle defect contrast.
The fibre assembly determines the delivered field
Confirm output shape, core diameter, connector, nominal length, bend route and working distance before selecting the light-box setting.
Dimming linearity, working-distance output and spectral response
The controller provides 256/1024-level constant-current adjustment. Delivered illuminance depends on fibre geometry and working distance, so production exposure must be checked with the selected fibre head.

Select one light box and the fibre geometry that reaches the inspection point
The light-box electrical configuration is fixed; the selectable optical result comes from the coupling connector, straight or ring fibre, fibre-core size and exit geometry.
- 1
Define the required field
Choose point, ring, line or other output geometry from the target and camera arrangement.
- 2
Match the coupling interface
Select MO, HY or SU connector geometry and confirm the Ø6–14 mm fibre-core range.
- 3
Route the fibre
Choose nominal length and preserve the assembly’s bend path without side-loading either connector.
- 4
Validate light delivery
Set the working distance and adjustment level on the real target before fixing exposure and trigger timing.

Reserve the light-box envelope, interface faces and complete fibre route
Keep the front controls and optical outlet, rear AC/RS232/trigger interfaces and side ventilation accessible. The selected fibre assembly must reach the target without exceeding its permitted routing envelope.
Keep all vents and control faces clear
Reserve the 299 × 120 × 116.7 mm light-box boundary plus working room for the front optical connector, rear cables, encoder, display and side airflow.
Protect the optical path from bend and side load
Support long fibres independently, keep connector axes aligned and confirm that moving machinery cannot pull or crush the assembly.
