Choose the controller architecture from the light and timing requirement
The comparison separates constant-current, PWM digital, analog constant-voltage, alternate strobe, brightened strobe, dust-proof and synchronous-control families. It contains 91 documented configurations rather than one controller model.

- Where supported
Continuous intensity
Choose constant-current, analog or PWM according to the light electrical design.
High-speed strobe
Choose alternate or brightened strobe from the required pulse and synchronization.
Protected installation
Use dust-proof variants when the controller environment requires it.
System coordination
Use SHT where several controllers and cameras share one timing sequence.
What changes between controller architectures
Electrical mode determines how the light is driven; communication and triggering determine how it participates in the machine cycle.
- Constant voltage
- Adjusts luminance by voltage while holding the set voltage; suited to line-scan and high-speed shutter cameras.
- PWM digital
- Adjusts duty ratio, shortens lighting time and heat, and supports 256-level key, encoder, RS232 or model-dependent LAN control.
- Constant current
- Adjusts LED current with current self-detection for line-scan and high-speed shutter cameras.
- Brightened strobe
- Applies 48 V for an instant, supports 0–999 μs lighting and can raise instantaneous luminance while limiting on-time.
- Analog adjustment
- Uses an external rotary knob for stepless 0–100% luminance adjustment.
- Trigger versus brightened strobe
- Trigger strobe is shown at up to 24 V with light pulse width following the trigger input; brightened strobe is shown at up to 48 V with a limited 0–999 μs pulse.
- Synchronous logic
- Coordinates controller and camera triggers through countdown, I/O-port and signal-generator modes rather than powering the light directly.
Series-level selection matrix

| Alternate strobe | LXV-3DRC | 2–4 channels | RS232 + LAN | 24 / 48 V | Use time-sharing or independent line-scan triggering. |
| Brightened strobe | LXV-4STU | 2–4 channels | RS232 + LAN | 48 V | Use short 2–10× brightened pulses with camera synchronization. |
| Dust-proof | LXV-IP | 1 or 8 channels | Model dependent | 24 V | Use sealed controller variants for dusty installations. |
| Synchronous logic | LXV-SHT | 6 outputs | RS232 + LAN | Logic outputs | Coordinate multiple controllers and cameras. |
Move from architecture to one exact controller row
The comparison narrows the family; retain the exact row for voltage or current, per-output limit, total load, channels, communication, trigger and supply.
- 1
Identify the light drive
Confirm constant current or constant voltage, output voltage, total load and maximum channel load.
- 2
Define control timing
Set continuous, PWM, alternating or brightened strobe operation.
- 3
Count channels and devices
Include every independently controlled light and camera trigger.
- 4
Choose communication and environment
Confirm panel, RS232, LAN, trigger voltage and protection needs.
91 documented controller configurations
Every electrical and timing value remains attached to its own model row.
