Compact air-cooled coaxial line-scan light for constrained spaces
LXV-COXL50-R combines a compact coaxial line-scan structure with compressor-air cooling. The 38 × 25 mm emitting aperture provides high-brightness red illumination with good uniformity and consistency inside an 86 × 50 × 36 mm body.

Glass surface defects
Use axial red illumination to reveal surface variation on reflective glass.
Plastic-shell scratches
Inspect scratches on air-conditioning-panel and other moulded plastic surfaces.
PCB inspection
Illuminate flat conductive and printed features through the coaxial path.
Restricted inspection cells
Fit a high-brightness coaxial source into an 86 × 50 × 36 mm envelope.
How the optical structure solves the inspection problem
Review the product-specific optical behavior, confirmed values and technical graphics together before selecting the final configuration.
- Compact construction
- The simple 86 × 50 × 36 mm body concentrates the optical and cooling paths into a small station envelope.
- Uniform coaxial field
- The 38 × 25 mm emitting aperture provides consistent axial illumination over the inspected strip.
- High-brightness red output
- The R configuration supplies red illumination for reflective surface and line-scan contrast.
- Compressor-air cooling
- Two air connections remove heat from the compact high-output housing.
Select from the actual optical, mechanical and electrical requirement
Do not select a custom light from appearance alone. Confirm target, contrast, field, interfaces and load together.
- 1
Confirm axial illumination
Use the coaxial path when the camera and illumination must share the target normal.
- 2
Check the active field
Keep the inspected strip inside the 38 × 25 mm emitting aperture.
- 3
Plan compressor air
Provide clean, stable cooling air to both housing connections.
- 4
Validate red response
Test glass, plastic-shell scratches or PCB features at the production exposure.

Release the exact product drawing with the complete inspection station
Dimensions, openings, mounting, channels and thermal clearances belong to the selected product only.
- 01
Reserve the complete 86 × 50 × 36 mm boundary and align the camera with the coaxial optical axis.
- 02
Keep the 38 × 25 mm emitting aperture and its internal 32 × 22 mm reference region unobstructed.
- 03
Connect clean compressor air to both cooling ports and verify flow before energising the light.
- 04
Fasten the housing through the four M4 threaded holes with a maximum engagement depth of 5 mm.
- 05
Route the 500 mm lead and connector clear of the line-scan field and moving equipment.
- 06
Provide 24 V / 8.4 W capacity and validate uniformity, temperature and contrast at production duty.
