Optical performance and model-specific limits
Use the numerical model limits together with MTF, field-curvature, distortion and transmission plots to evaluate image quality across the required field.
Select one complete magnification / FOV / WD operating point
Start with the sensor and required field of view, then compare optical and mechanical constraints within one complete model row.

Within each row, magnification, FOV, working distance and distortion values align by position from left to right; do not mix operating points.
Use the selected lens diameter, length and filter thread as one set
Body diameter and length are specified in the model table rather than a separate mechanical drawing. Those dimensions, back focal length and the selected operating point form the integration envelope.
Operating point
Keep magnification, field of view, working distance and distortion aligned within the same column position.
Sensor
Confirm the selected camera format is within the stated 1/1.8- to 1.1-inch support range.
Mechanical body
Reserve the exact Ø40×43.3, Ø38×59.3, Ø40×78.5 or Ø48×112 mm envelope.
Optical validation
Check focus, contrast and allowable perspective on the actual sample before substituting for a telecentric lens.
Validate the selected lens on the real camera and workpiece
Confirm field of view, focus, corner performance, distortion tolerance, working-distance margin, mount fit and machine clearance under representative production conditions.
