Optical performance and model-specific limits
Use the numerical model limits together with MTF, field-curvature, distortion and transmission plots to evaluate image quality across the required field.
Choose magnification and illumination architecture together
Start with the sensor and required field of view, then compare optical and mechanical constraints within one complete model row.

TL denotes a non-coaxial-illumination telecentric lens; TC denotes a coaxial-illumination telecentric lens.
Reserve the 110 mm object distance and the selected body length
Every model uses C mount and a fixed 110 mm working distance. The table provides the maximum diameter, length and weight needed for mechanical planning.
Field of view
Calculate the required field from sensor size and the selected 0.3×–3× magnification.
Illumination path
Use TL for non-coaxial illumination or TC where coaxial illumination is required.
Depth tolerance
Keep part-height variation within the listed depth-of-field value.
Mechanical clearance
Reserve the row-specific diameter, length, camera mount and lighting access.
Validate the selected lens on the real camera and workpiece
Confirm field of view, focus, corner performance, distortion tolerance, working-distance margin, mount fit and machine clearance under representative production conditions.
